Health service offices for students and employees to relocate
In preparation for the construction of the new clinical health sciences and wellness building, the health services building, located on Campus Avenue, will be closing Wednesday, Dec. 9, to move its operations to temporary locations.

Miami University's board of trustees to meet
The Miami University investment subcommittee of the board of trustees will meet remotely at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24. The Miami board of trustees will meet during a regular business meeting at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30.

Miami University Symphony Orchestra releases music video featuring children's choir from India
"The culmination of efforts over three months between students at Miami and India is a poetic vision of Florence Price through her music, as the sounds cross continents, breaking boundaries of racism and segregation, to become a symbol of inspiration in the memories of children and college students," said Ricardo Averbach, MUSO director.

MUPD K-9 Figo awarded President's Medallion for outstanding service to the Miami community
President Crawford thanked Figo for keeping the Miami community safe over the past seven years, in a simple ceremony earlier this week. A Belgian Malinois, Figo joined the department as Miami's explosive detective canine working with MUPD Officer Keith Hibbard.

President Greg Crawford convened the Safe Return to Campus Planning and Coordinating Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force during 2020 to address two critical issues affecting the health and wellbeing of the Miami community—the pandemic and racial unrest in the United States.

New Ally/Mentor program for Miami staff: Sign up by Nov. 6
Miami is piloting a voluntary program to facilitate partnering diverse and underrepresented (e.g. Black and Latino) staff with one another to serve as allies/mentors throughout the Miami experience.

Farmer School team wins 2020 Teradata Analytics Challenge
A team of students from Miami’s Farmer School of Business and the College of Arts and Science took on students from around the world to win the analytics portion of the 2020 Teradata Analytics Challenge last month.
